The story of AMSOIL began with a simple question: Why shouldn’t everyday engines benefit from the same protection used in jet aircraft?

As a jet fighter squadron commander, Lieutenant Colonel Albert J. Amatuzio saw firsthand how synthetic lubricants protected jet engines operating under extreme heat, cold, and stress.
